"Boys in Blue take away all the blues! Big Congratulations to the @BCCI, @JayShah and the entire support staff that has worked tirelessly behind the scenes so that our boys could soar!!"

The T20 World Cup victory parade of Rohit Sharma and his team concluded at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday as a sea of fans turned up to cheer for the cricketers throughout their way.

The parade kicked off from Marine Drive and crossed a sea of fans to reach the Wankhede Stadium, where the World Cup-winning team is set to be felicitated by the BCCI.

The crowd was jam-packed as the Team India bus tried to find its way to the destination.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and ex-coach Rahul Dravid found it hard to keep their emotions under control as the victory bus gradually made its way through the massive crowd.

Trains arriving at Churchgate on the Western Railway network and the sprawling Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, the last station on Central Railway's vast route, were crowded as people from various parts of the metropolis made their way to the southern tip right from the afternoon of the metropolis to watch the parade.

Stations and roads reverberated with slogans of 'Bharat Mataki Jai', 'Vande Mataram' and 'India India' as Tricolour-waving and blue jersey-clad crowds braved the intermittent rains to catch a glimpse of the team that had brought T20 cricket's most coveted prize home after more than a decade.
