Pardes star Mahima Chaudhry diagnosed with breast cancer

Mumbai: Actress Mahima Chaudhry, who had earned love of her fans with her performance in 1997 release Pardes, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The condition of her health came to be known when Anupam Kher shared a video on Instagram on Thursday which featured her.

Informing people about Mahima, he wrote: " Story of @mahimachaudhry1 ‘s courage and Cancer: I called #MahimaChaudhry a month back from US to play a very important role in my 525th film #TheSignature. Mahima worked in several Bollywood movies after Pardes which included  Daag: The Fire and Dhadkan, among others.

Pardes had featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
