Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas officially get engaged in Mumbai

Mumbai, Aug 18 (IBNS): Ending all speculations and rumours, actress Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their relationship official with a roka ceremony in Mumbai on Saturday.

The roka ceremony is scheduled to be followed with a party with several celebrities attending it.

A source told Indian Express news paper that the Chopras booked 200 rooms in a hotel for the guests, many of whom are arriving from the United States. Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Sophie Choudry and Raveena Tandon are expected to attend the ceremony tonight. 

Wishing the couple, actress Preity Zinta tweeted: "Congratulations to my dear @priyankachopra & @nickjonas on their new journey together. Wish you both loads of love, happiness & togetherness always ting #PriyankaNickEngagement #Celebration."

She also shared an image of the couple performing a pre-wedding ceremony.

A popular face in Bollywood movies, Priyanka gained international attention with her performance in US TV series Quantico.

She made her Hollywood debut with 2017 movie Baywatch.
