Priyanka Chopra turns 32 today

Mumbai, July 18 (IBNS): National award winning actress Priyanka Chopra, whose much awaited film 'Mary Kom' is all set to hit the silver screen soon, turned 32 years of age on Friday.

The film , which is a biopic on Indian Boxer and Olympic Bronze medalist MC Mary Kom, recently released the first look posters.

Since the release of the posters, Priyanka is flooded with appreciations as the first look of the film revealed the perfection with which she has delivered her character, highlighting her muscles in what can only be called a boxer’s physique.

Priyanka made her start in the glamour industry as a model.

After winning the Miss World 2000 pageant, she entered the Bollywood industry with the film 'Hero: Love Story of a Spy'.

She tasted her first box-office hit with 'Andaaz', which won her the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and a nomination for the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.

She subsequently earned wide critical recognition for the role of a seductress in the 2004 thriller 'Aitraaz', winning her the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role.

The former Miss World has showcased her versatility and acting skill  with films like ‘Kaminey’, ‘Barfi!’, ‘Fashion’, 'Krrish', 'Don', 'Don 2', ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and recently 'Gunday'.

She won the National Award in 2009 for ‘Fashion’, where she played the role of a supermodel Meghna Mathur.

The multi talented actress also proved her singing proficiency with her international singles like 'In My City' and 'Exotic'. Priyanka performed with international singer Pitbull in the second album.
