Ranveer Singh's 1983 to release in Aug 2020

Mumbai, Jul 5 (IBNS): Ranveer Singh starrer Hindi film 1983 will hit the big screens in Aug, 2020.

1983 is a biopic based on Indian cricket team's first world cup win under the leadership of then captain Kapil Dev.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#BreakingNews: Ranveer Singh and director Kabir Khan... #1983 to release on 10 April 2020 [Good Friday]... #Reliance #Phantom #VishnuInduri... #Relive83"

The film will be directed by Kabir Khan.

Ranveer will essay the role of Kapil onscreen.
