Mumbai: Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer upcoming Hindi film Ishallah will not release in Eid 2020, the superstar informed his fans on Twitter.

Salman took to the micro-blogging site to say the release date of Ishaallah, which will unite the actor with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 20 years, has been pushed but he will come up with a new film.

He tweeted, "The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!"

Film critic Taran Adarsh has confirmed that Salman will bring a different film in Eid next year.

Taran tweeted, "Salman Khan makes big announcements... #Inshallah - the film that reunites Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali - *won't* arrive on #Eid2020. Salman will retain #Eid2020 release week. Will bring another film instead."

Last time, Salman had worked with Bhansali in 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which also starred senior actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (then Aishwarya Rai).

Inshallah is the first film where Salman and Alia will share space together.

Bhansali's last directorial film was Padmaavat, which released in early 2018.
