Mumbai: Bollywood superstar said he took the first COVID-19 vaccine shot on Wednesday.

He tweeted: "Took my first dose of vaccine today."

Salman took the vaccine shot on a day when another superstar Aamir Khan tested OCVID-19 positive.

Aamir's spokesperson said as quoted by The Indian Express, "Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”

The actor is presently working for Laal Singh Chaddha.

Earlier this month, actors Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had tested positive for Covid-19.
