Starry evening marks the debut of Cirque du Soleil in India

Mumbai, Nov 15 (IBNS): Lights, camera, colour! The World Premiere of Montreal-based Cirque du Soleil’s 43rd original production BAZZAR in Mumbai was a night to remember.

Coming together under the iconic Big Top for the unmissable debut of the latest acrobatic spectacle by Cirque du Soleil was a brigade of who’s who from Mumbai.

In attendance at the premiere were Bollywood stars like Karisma Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Radhika Apte, Ishan Khattar, Kiara Advani, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Arbaz Khan & Georgina, Kabir Khan & Mini Mathur, Soni Razdan and Evelyn Sharma.

Also seen at the event were celebrities such as Divyanka Tripathi & Vivek Dahiya, Rannvijay Singh Singha & Priyanka Vora, Homi Adjania & Anaita Shroff Adjania, Maniesh Paul, Gaurav Kapoor, Sameer Kocchar, Arjan Bajwa amongst others. Dignitaries like V. K. Gautam, Principal Secretary, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, Govt. of Maharashtra also graced the red carpet.

Brought to India exclusively with BookMyShow, Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR, presented by Citibank, digital partner Jio, powered by Chivas Studio Music CDs & supported by Maharashtra Tourism, has been the talk of the town since the time it first announced its entry into the Indian market.

Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR will be performed by Cirque du Soleil artists under the newest version of its famous Big Top Tent, which is 19 meters (62 feet) high and is 41 meters (135 feet) in diameter and will seat more than 1500 guests.

Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR is hailed as an eclectic lab of infinite creativity where a joyful troupe of acrobats, dancers and musicians craft an awe-inspiring spectacle. 

Led by their maestro, they band together to invent a whimsical one-of-a-kind universe. In a place where the unexpected is expected, the colourful group imagines, builds and invents vibrant scenes in an artistic and acrobatic game.  

Originally composed of 20 street performers in 1984, Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group of Montreal in Canada reinvented circus arts and went on to become a world leader in live entertainment.
