Actress Millie Bobby Brown has welcomed motherhood after she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, decided to adopt a baby daughter.

Brown wrote on Instagram: "This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption."

"We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy," she said.

She concluded her message by saying, "And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi."

However, the couple did not reveal the name of their daughter.

The actress married Bongiovi, the 23-year-old son of rock singer Jon Bon Jovi, 15 months ago.

The pair met through a mutual friend and connected after the actress cold-called her now-husband, BBC reported.

The couple reportedly live on a farm now.
