Stree continues strong performance at BO, earns Rs. 17 crores in two days

Mumbai, Sept 2 (IBNS):   Actors Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree left audience amazed by its unique content and found equal success at the Box Office as the movie earned Rs. 17 crores at the Box Office till Saturday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Stree catches speed and hits double digits on Day 2... The low costs and high theatrical returns makes it a BIG SUCCESS... Expect further growth on Day 3... Eyes ₹ 30 cr [+/-] weekend... Fri 6.82 cr, Sat 10.87 cr. Total: ₹ 17.69 cr. India biz."

The movie assumes significance as it is a new genre introduced by the Bollywood where the audience will watch a comedy film with a pinch of horror added to it.

  Amar Kaushik has directed the film and what made it different was the mix of comedy and horror genre in one movie.

The movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj and DK.

It also features Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Vikay Raaz in the lead roles.
