'Superman' Cavill joins Mission Impossible 6 cast

Mumbai, Mar 17 (IBNS): Superman actor Henry Cavill has joined the cast of Mission Impossible 6.

Cavill will work with the likes of Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson and Jeremy Renner.

The news was made public on Instagram by both the director of the movie, Christopher McQuarrie and the actor Cavill himself.

In a casual chat, McQuarrie wrote, "Say, @henrycavill. Had a thought. Curious if you're interested in a role in the 6th installment of Mission: Impossible. No pressure."

To which, the Superman star replied, "Oh ok...I'm in!"

The movie is set to release in 2018.
