They issued a joint statement on Instagram.

"After four years of wonderful marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," read the statement issued by the duo.

“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the statement said.

The singer filed a petition for divorce in Florida on Tuesday in Miami Dade County, according to public records obtained by CNN on Wednesday.

The couple tied the nuptial knot in 2019.

They have two children together.
