Chandigarh, Sept 25 (IBNS) Defending champions Pune FC Under-17s logged their second win-in-a-row hammering Bengaluru’s Ozone Group Football Academy 7-0 in the second round of the 13th Administrator’s Challenge Cup at the Sector-42 Football Ground in Chandigarh on Thursday.

The big win was powered by four goals from striker Lalawmpuia (27th, 43rd, 54th & 65th minute) along with strikes from attacker Cladeo Nonglpluh (33rd), winger Lalrinawma (78th) and defender Asish Rai (85th).

Playing their second game in as many days, Pune FC built on their impressive 9-1 win in the opener against Gujarat State FA and struck thrice in the first half itself through Lalawmpuia (two goals) and Pune-lad Cladeo Nongpluh.

The second half saw Lalawmpuia once again strike twice to take his tally to 9 goals in the competition. The in-form striker reached the tally in just two games after his five-goal heroics in the opener.

Meanwhile, winger Lalrinawma and defender Asish Rai scored their first goals of the competition in the final quarter to round off the resounding 7-0 win.
