Asiad: Bindra grabs bronze

Incheon, Sept 23 (IBNS): Indian shooters continued their strong performance in the ongoing Asian Games as Abhinav Bindra and the men's team winning the bronze here on Tuesday.

Bindra clinched the bronze medal in the  men's 10m air rifle  event. He grabbed the third place with a  final score of 187.1

The Indian men's team also won the bronze medal in the 10 metre air rifle event with a total of 1,863-135x.

The team comprised of Abhinav Bindra, Ravi Kumar and Sanjeev Rajput.

The gold medal went to China while the silver was won by South Korea.

Bindra ended his shooting career with the bronze medal.

The Olympic champion on Monday pulled trigger on his career when he announced his retirement from professional shooting.
