India destroys Ireland in 2nd T20 I, register 143 runs victory

Dublin, June 30 (IBNS): India defeated Ireland by a massive 143 runs in the second T20 International match of the series to commence their English tour with a strong impact on Friday.

India scored 213 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs and in return Ireland were bowled out for 70 runs.

KL Rahul (70) and Suresh Raina (69) contributed with their bats which helped India to post 213 runs on the scorecard.

Hardik Pandya grabbed attention at the end of the innings with his stormy 9-ball 32 runs knock.

He smashed one boundary and four sixes in his whirlwind knock.

Kevin O'Brien picked up three wickets for Ireland.

In return, Ireland could not stand against the mighty Indian bowling.

William Porterfield remained the top scorer for Ireland with his 14 runs knock.

Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets each to destroy the Ireland batting lineup.
