IPL 2020: Mumbai Indians defeat SRH by 34 runs, register 3rd win of season

Sharjah/UNI:  Mumbai Indians registered their third win of the IPL 2020 after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 34 runs in the 17th match of the cash-rich tournament at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, here on Sunday.

Batting first, Mumbai Indians posted a huge total of 208/5 in 20 overs courtesy a quickfire fifty from Quinton de Kock (67 off 39).

Apart from de Kock, Ishan Kishan ( 31 off 23) Hardik Pandya (28 off 19), Kieron Pollard (25 off 13), Krunal Pandya (20 off 4) also made useful contributions with the bat for MI.

In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad crumbled under the pressure and scored 174/7 in 20 overs, losing the match by 34 runs.

After this win, Mumbai Indians are now leading the points table on the basis of NRR.
