IPL 2020: RCB beat KKR by 82 runs

Sharjah/UNI: Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Kolkata Knight Riders by 82 runs in the 28th match of the IPL 2020, to register their 5th win of the cash rich tournament, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, here on Monday.

Batting first, AB de Villiers fired big as he scored an unbeaten 73 off 33 balls to help Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) post a gigantic 194/2 on the board in 20 overs.

Aaron Finch (47 off 37) and Virat Kohli also made (33 off 28) valuable contributions with the bat.

In response, KKR crumbled under the pressure and were restricted to 112 for 9 - their lowest total against RCB in the history of IPL.

After this win, RCB moved to the 3rd spot in the points table with 5 wins from 7 matches.
