IPL now past, Virat Kohli focusses on 'white ball' cricket for WTC final

India's cricket icon Virat Kohli had one of the most memorable Indian Premier League (IPL) seasons this year as a batter with two consecutive centuries in as many matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore at the closing end of the T20 tournament's league matches.

Despite Kohli's century, Bangalore failed to stop Gujarat Titans from shattering their dream of reaching the IPL playoffs.

With IPL being over for Bangalore, Kohli wasted no time and flew to London to shift his focus to the much important World Test Championship
final to be played between India and Australia from June 7 to June 11.

In a Twitter post, Kohli shared how he is preparing for the final, where Team India will be led by Rohit Sharma.

The championship decider will be played at The Oval, London from June 7 to 11 with June 12 the reserve day.

Australia leads the nine-team points table for the ongoing cycle with a healthy points percentage of 75.56, followed by India at 58.93.

In 2021, India missed the chance to become the world champions in the longest format of the game as they were defeated by New Zealand.
