Khawaja smashes 100 as Australia post 272 runs for nine wickets in final ODI match against India

New Delhi, Mar 13 (IBNS): Usman Khawaja showed his form will help the Australian side in the World Cup as he scored 100 runs to help his side post 272 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the last and deciding fifth match of the series on Wednesday.

He scored 10 boundaries and two sixes in the knock.

Khawaja played a sensible knock in his 106 balls affair and he was joined by  Handscomb (52) as he also made some valuable contributions with the willow against India.

Kumar picked up three wickets for India. Shami and spinner Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each.

India will need to score 272 runs to win the series.

The series is currently standing 2-2. The winner of the match will clinch the series.
