Lewis Hamilton wins Chinese Grand Prix

| | Apr 13, 2015, at 02:36 am
Shanghai, April 12 (IBNS)- Lewis Hamilton won Chinese Grand Prix for the fourth time in his career as Nico Rosberg bagged the second spot.

The British world champion drove with pace in hand, unleashing his potential only when needed around the pit stops.

It was Hamilton's second victory of the season.

In a heated post-race press conference Rosberg accused teammate Hamilton of holding him back in the race by saying that, "It’s interesting to hear from you Lewis that you were just thinking about yourself with the pace. Unnecessarily that was compromising my race, because driving slower than was maybe necessary at the beginning of stints meant that Sebastian was very close to me and that opened up the opportunity for Sebastian to try that early pit stop, to try and jump me."

"I was unnecessarily close to Sebastian as a result and it cost me race time as a result.”

Hamilton's rival, Sebastian Vettel's advantage over Rosberg was cut to four as the Ferrari racer finished a place behind Nico Rosberg.

Max Verstappen’s Toro Rosso came to a smoky halt on the pit straight with a suspected power unit failure when the Dutch driver was racing at eighth position.
