Mumbai, Feb 6 (IBNS): Indian coach Ravi Shastri on Tuesday posed with asanitary pad on his hand and was quick in posting the image on Twitter.

Shastri performed the act as a part of PadMan Challenge.

Ravi could be seen sporting the Indian national team jersey in the image.

He is currently touring with the Indian team in South Africa where the visitors have already taken 2-0 lead in the ODI series.

South Africa earlier defeated India 2-1 in the Test series.

Shastri also challenged Indian skipper  Virat Kohli to take up the challenge.

" Yes, it’s a Pad in my hand. Happy to support rockstar @akshaykumar for breaking the taboo and initiating an open conversation. AK, am sure no ball is going to hit PAD (MAN). #PadManChallenge Here I challenge @imVkohli @SinghaniaGautam @Leander," he tweeted.

PadmanChallenge is a part of the upcoming movie PadMan.

It features actor Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
