Spain's Carolina Marin beats PV Sindhu in Badminton World Championships final

New Delhi, Aug 5 (IBNS): Indian Badminton star PV Sindhu suffered defeat in the final of the Badminton World Championships to Spain's Carolina Marin on Sunday.

Marin shined in the match and defeated her Indian opponent in just 46 minutes.

Sindhu was completely blown away in the final clash by Marin who defeated her 21-19, 21-10.

Marin lifted her third World Championships title with the victory over Sindhu on Sunday.

She is the only player to win the title three times.

Sindhu settled with a silver medal.
