Was a miscommunication: Virat Kohli reacts to Pant, Iyer both coming out to bat at no. 4
Bengaluru: Reacting to a bit funny incident of both Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer heading towards the pitch to bat at number four, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli admitted that there was a "miscommunication".
After India lost Shikhar Dhawan's wicket in the third T20I match against South Africa on Sunday, both Pant and Iyer- the two young players- were seen heading towards the pitch to bat with their skipper.
Later Pant had joined Kohli.
Reacting to the incident, Kohli in the post-match press conference said there was a misunderstanding as to who would go to bat at that stage.

The skipper said they had a plan to send Iyer before 10 overs of the innings and Pant after the same number of overs.
South Africa on Sunday leveled the three-match T20I series by beating India by nine wickets in the last encounter.
After the first match was washed away due to incessant rain, India had won the second T20I match.
