New Delhi/IBNS: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani Thursday condoled the death of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, and described him as "a rare leader who spoke softly but achieved monumental strides through his actions."

He made the comment on a day when hinting that the country's economy might be witnessing a slowdown, India's second-quarter GDP stood at 4.5 percent, the lowest in six years.
