Tata Steel becomes India’s 1st steel company to develop steel pipes for transportation of hydrogen

Mumbai: Tata Steel has become India's first company to achieve end-to-end capabilities to develop pipes for the transportation of hydrogen, the company said in a press release.

New Delhi: Eco-friendly fuels, Green Hydrogen (GH2) and green ammonia, considered as the future energy sources globally, have the potential to attract investments totaling USD 125 billion (equivalent to approximately Rs 10.43 lakh crore) in India by 2030, as per a research report by Avendus Capital.

New Delhi/IBNS: State-run natural gas processor and distributor Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has commenced India’s first-ever project of mixing hydrogen into the natural gas system at Madhya Pradesh's Indore, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas said Tuesday.
