ITI student lynched in WB: CID files charge sheet against 13

Kolkata, Jul 29 (IBNS): West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Friday filed charge sheet before a local court in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district in connection with a student lynching case against 13 persons, including a local leader of the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC), officials said.

Kolkata, May 13 (IBNS): Three days after a college student was beaten to death by a mob over a false allegation in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district, police on Thursday midnight arrested one of the main accused in this case- local Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Tapas Mullick- from North 24 Parganas district, reports said.
