Mumbai/UNI: Barring a few untoward incidents in the state, the day-long Maharashtra bandh ended by and large peacefully on Monday, with the leaders of ruling parties terming the protest as being widely successful.

Mumbai, Jan 3 (IBNS): Train services have been disrupted and several buses vandalised in different parts of Maharashtra as the state is witnessing a strike called by Dalit groups in protest against the violence against members of the community in Pune two days ago, media reports said.
