Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Monday seemed to excuse Prime Minister Narendra Modi from her allegations that the CBI and ED were committing excesses in the state, and instead blamed a section of BJP leaders for misusing them for their own interests, media reports said.

Kolkata/IBNS: Former Trinamool Congress strongman and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has said he is ashamed of his 21 years in Mamata Banerjee's party as it has now lost discipline and is being run like a "company", adding that his new objective is to help BJP win the 2021 Bengal assembly elections.
