Kolkata, Apr 28 (IBNS): With the Assembly polls scheduled to be held next year, the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) gained momentum as the party posted a strong result in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) elections and the 91 civic bodies in West Bengal while the Left Front managed to hold the second spot, ahead of the Congress and the BJP.
