Kolkata/UNI: Trinamool Congress leader (local) Mohoram Sheikh (35), who was shot at near his Canning home in South 24 Parganas on Saturday evening, succumbed to his multiple wounds at the SSKM hospital in the city at the wee hours on Sunday, police investigating the crime said.

Asansol, Aug 25 (UNI) TMC Councillor Md Khalid Khan of West Burdwan municipality was shot dead in front of his younger brother near their home, while a powerful explosion ripped through the roof of a TMC leader in Birbhum as political extermination continued to rock West Bengal for past four months.
