5.9 earthquake hits Pakistan
Kabul, Jan 8 (IBNS) An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter Scale hit Pakistan on Friday, officials said.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has called the intensity of the quake at 5.9.
The epicentre of the quake, which hit at 14:07, was located at Afghanistan Tajikistan Border Region, PMD website said.
No causality has been reported so far.
According to local media reports, quake was felt in Pakistan's Islamabad city and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) area.
