Afghanistan: 6 cops killed during clash with militants
Helmand, May 30 (IBNS) At least six policemen were killed during a clash with militants in Afghanistan's Helmand province , media reports said on Monday.
According to reports, several others were injured in the incident.
Capt. Mohammad Ismail Khpalwak, the district police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the firefight took place on Sunday night when the insurgents stormed a number of security posts in Malgir area.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
