Afghanistan: Doctor shot dead by unknown gunmen

Kabul, Dec 27 (IBNS): A doctor was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, media reports said on Tuesday.

Attuallah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Afghanistan's Pajhwok Afghan News that Dr. Emal was severing in Damaan Hospital and was gunned down by unidentified gunmen in Jamalo locality on Sunday night.

No arrest has been made so far.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
