Afghanistan: Heavy explosion occurs near Indian Consulate

Jalalabad, Mar 2 (IBNS) A heavy explosion took place outside the Indian Consulate in Afghanistan's Jalalabad city on Wednesday, reports said.

Several people are feared to have been killed in the attack.

"All diplomats and employees of the consulate are safe," Khaama Press reported.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

According to reports, security forces exchanged fires with the attackers.
