Afghanistan: Prayer leader blown up by own explosives

Kabul Feb 17 (IBNS): A prayer leader was killed when his own explosives exploded in Afghanistan's Panjwai district, media reports said on Saturday .

Police spokesman Matiullah Hilal told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place inside a mosque in the Speerwan locality of the district two days back. 

Initially, it was unclear that who was behind the blast.

Investigations later revealed that it was the prayer leader had  kept the bomb in the mosque.

The imam was identified as  Hamidullah.
