Afghanistan: Suicide bomber arrested in Kabul

Kabul, Oct 18 (IBNS): Afghanistan security forces have arrested a suicide bomber on a bicycle in capital Kabul city, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Wednesday.

As per officials, the suicide bomber was arrested before he could reach to a target in Chahar Asyab district.

"The timely discovery of the explosives has foiled terror attack and saved the city from an expected tragedy," read a statement issued by the MoI.

"Discoveries like this demonstrate the ever-increasing capability of Afghan National Security Forces to protect the civilians from indiscriminate IED attacks," read the statement.
