Afghanistan: Talibans kill 10 commandos

Kabul, Nov 11 (IBNS): A coordinated Taliban attack in Jaghori district of southern Ghazni province of Afghanistan left at least ten commandos and 15 civilians killed, media reports said on Sunday.

Provincial police spokesman Ahmad Khan Sirat told Pajhwok Afghan the militants coordinately stormed the Hotoqol locality of Jaghori district late Saturday night.

He told the Afghanistan-based news agency in the attack ten commando forces and 15 civilians were killed and six commandos and 11 civilians were wounded.

After the attacks, airstrikes targeted Taliban positions in the area and inflicted heavy causalities on them, the police official told Pajhwok Afghan News.
