Sunwing aircraft, which had no passengers and crew members, backed in the airport and collided with WestJet Flight 2425.

WestJet, which was coming from Cancun, had 168 passengers and six crew on board.

Representative for the Greater Toronto Airport Authority, Beverly Macdonald, said an investigation is underway.

The collision occurred at a time the temperature in Toronto is ranging between -20 and -26 degree overnight. The low temperature turned out to be challenging for the operation of the airlines at the present moment.
