Amid tight security, Pakistan court sends Hindu girl Mahek Kumari to production home
Jacobabad/IBNS: Amid protests by Hindu community members over the kidnap, conversion, and marriage of minor Hindu girl Mehak Kumari in Pakistan and a verdict awaited by a court, certain sections of people forced locals of Jacobabad city in Sindh province of the country to close shops on Tuesday to influence the decision in the case.
A Pakistan court has sent the girl child to a production home instead of handing her back to her parents.

Journalist Ravinder Singh Robin tweeted: "Complete verdict copy of #Pakistani #HinduGirl #MehakKumari who was reportedly abducted, forced converted to #Islamabad and got married. #Pakistan Court sent the girl child production home instead of handing her back to her parents."
Keeping in mind the law and order situation of the area, tight security arrangements have been made in Jacobabad.
Five hundred police personnel and 200 Rangers personnel have been deployed from five districts, police sources said.
Journalist Ravinder Singh Robin said 1000 policemen were deployed at Jacobabad city to stop Hindu protesters who were marching towards court.
Recently, Human rights activists from Pakistan and members of Indian community living in the United Kingdom demonstrated outside the Pakistan High Commission in London to seek justice for Kumari.
The incident remained as another instance of persecution of minorities in the Muslim-dominated South Asian nation.
Kumari was married to a man named Ali Raza Machi.
