Australia: Four police officers killed in multi-car collision in Melbourne

Melbourne/UNI: At least four police officers were killed in a multi-car collision on Wednesday here in Australia.

The crash happened just after 5:30 pm local time in a city-bound lane near the Chandler Highway at Kew and the exact circumstances surrounding the collision were yet to be determined, Xinhua quoted police as saying.

Investigation was on.

Injured driver has been sent to hospital in non-life-threatening conditions.

Police urged residents with information about the crash to contact authorities.
