Quetta, Jan 7 (IBNS): At least 12 people were injured as two blasts rocked Balochistan on Sunday, media reports said.

Three Levies personnel and a member of the Frontier Corps were among those hurt in the blast.

In northern Balochistan's Pishin district, Naib Tehsildar Abdul Malik Tareen was the target of the first attack, police official Tahir Mehmood told DawnNewsTV.

According to media reports, an improvised explosive device planted in a motorcycle parked outside Tareen's office was detonated when the Naib Tehsildar was trying to enter the building.

The injured people were rushed to different hospitals in the region for treatment.

In a separate incident, two people including a Frontier Corps soldier and a civilian were injured in a remote-controlled blast that rocked  Panjgur district in the Pakistani province.

A security official who declined to be named told Dawn News the miscreants targeted an FC vehicle with the roadside remote-controlled bomb in Panjgur bazaar.

The vehicle was reportedly damaged in the blast.
