Bangladesh: Death toll due to Dhaka building collapse touches 8

The building located in Moghbazar area of the country capital Dhaka was partially damaged due to the explosion.

 The explosion occurred on Sunday.

The body of the three-storey building’s caretaker Harunur Rashid was found at around 3:30pm on Tuesday, Fire Service and Civil Defence Deputy Director (Operations and Maintenance) Debashish Bardhan told Dhaka Tribune.

The recovered body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for an autopsy.

Police have filed a case in connection with the incident.
