Bangladesh: Pickup van overturns in Noakhali, 4 die

Dhaka, July 28 (IBNS): At least four people were killed as a pickup van overturned in Bangladesh's Noakhali area on Sunday, media reports said.

The incident left 15 others injured.

The incident took place at the Chowmuhani Bazar around 7am on Sunday, according to Harunur Rashid, chief of the Begumganj Model Police Station, reported bdnews24.

The injured people were rushed to Begumganj Upazila Health Complex and Noakhali General Hospital for treatment.

“Nine people have been brought to my hospital, some of whom are in critical condition,” said Dr Syed Mohiuddin Abdul Azim, resident medical officer of Noakhali General Hospital told the news portal.
