Bangladesh: Road mishap on Eid kills 6

Dhaka, June 5 (IBNS): A bus veered out of control and crashed into a tree in Faridpur Sadar Upazila area of Bangladesh and left at least six people killed on Wednesday, media reports said.

The mishap left 15 people injured.

The incident happened on a day when the nation is observing Eid.

The accident occurred in the upazila’s Dhuldi Railgate area around 6:45am on Wednesday, Md Nurul Alam Dulal, senior station officer of Faridpur Fire Service and Civil Defence, told bdnews24 news portal.

The dead people could not be identified.

So far, 13 people have been admitted to hospital.

Te driver of the bus reportedly lost control of the vehicle and that led to the mishap.
