Bangladesh: Security forces arrest 3 Allahr Dal militants

Dhaka/IBNS:  Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) officials have arrested three alleged members of banned militant organization Allahr Dal from Bangladesh's  Chuadanga district, media reports said.

They were detained from Jafarpur Government Primary School's premise Thursday night, reported Dhaka Tribune.

They have been identified as Ruhul Amin, 40, Kalam Mandal, 39, and Nur Islam Pakhi, 38.

RAB officials said during the operation two leaflets, a list consisting the members' names, some important documents and three mobile phone sets from their possession.

"Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB 6 conducted a drive in the school premises, and arrested the three suspects while they were holding a clandestine meeting Thursday night," RAB 6 Additional Superintendent of Masud Alam told Dhaka Tribune.
