RAB also seized a number of leaflets and books promoting extremism from their possession, said Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Siddik Ahmed, media officer of RAB-13, on Sunday, reports Dhaka Tribune.

The detained people were identified as Md Rezaul Karim Khandakar, alias Karim, son of Lutfur Rahman Khandokar from Nokharpara; Md Sultan Mahmud, son of Md Belal Miya from Sakin Dariyapur; and Md Nr Alam, son of MA Bari from Sang Dhanasanga.

Among the arrested, Md Sultan is a first year college student. All of them are active members of the militant group and followed their leader, one Matin Mehedi, RAB told Dhaka Tribune.
