California, Nov 16 (IBNS): The number of missing in the wildfires which have hit California area in the USA has touched 631, media reports said on Friday.

Meanwhile, seven more bodies have been recovered from the incident.

Butte County Sheriff and Coroner Kory Honea was quoted as saying by CNN that the death toll from the Camp Fire in northern California had grown to 63 people.

Seven sets of remains were discovered Thursday, he said.

About 9,400 firefighters are fighting against the wildfires in the state.

The fire hit the area eight days ago.

It has badly affected people in the area and gave little time to them to escape the spot.

" The official list more than doubled from 300 to 631 on Thursday," reported BBC.
