Canada PM Trudeau meets Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi

Ottawa, Nov 23 (IBNS): Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has met Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi and the two had a discussion over the city.

Trudeau and Nenshi had discussed the way the two can work together to keep creating opportunities for Calgary.

The Prime Minister also said the federal government will support Calgary.

Calgary is a city in Alberta province of Canada.

Trudeau tweeted a picture with Nenshi saying, "The federal government will always be a strong partner for Calgary. Good conversation today with Mayor @Nenshi on how we can work together to keep creating opportunities for people in the city."

Nenshi was elected as the Mayor for the third time in 2017. In 2010, he became the first Muslim person to assume the post of the north American city.
