Beijing, June 26 (IBNS): At least 30 people were killed in a fire which erupted in a bus in China's Hunan Province on Sunday, media reports said.

"The accident happened at about 10:20 a.m. when the bus carrying 56 people crashed into the guardrails on a highway in Yizhang County. The ensuing oil leak may have caused the fire," the county government was quoted as saying by Xinhua news agency.

Twenty-one  people are undergoing treatment at a local hospital, reports said.

The driver of the bus has been detained by the police.
