China,Nepal to conduct joint military drill?

Beijing, Dec 30 (IBNS): China and Nepal are likely to conduct joint military exercise next year, media reports said.

hinese Defence Ministry Spokesperson Yang Yujun  was quoted as saying by the country's Ministry of National Defence website that the  "initial communication" on the issue have been conducted and details will be revealed  in due course of time.

"On your first question, for years, the two militaries of China and Nepal have conducted exchanges and cooperation in various forms on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, which has played a positive role in enhancing each other’s capability of conducting diversified military operations," he was quoted as saying by the website.

"Recently, China and Nepal have conducted initial communication on holding joint training between the two armies and we will publicize relevant information in due time," he said.
